Tech-Ed Europe Cancelled!

by Sander Gerz January 24, 2006 11:00

Last week I heard someone saying that Tech-Ed Europe was about to be cancelled. I couldn't believe it, with Tech-Ed Europe being around for over 10 years. But, it's true! (beware: Dutch link).

There will be a developers conference, but it's in Barcelona, in autumn, just a week before IT Forum, which is more focussed on operations. Tech-Ed Europe has in the past been more of a developers' conference instead of a conference for both IT pros and developers, because of IT Forum. It's now official.

Well, all the more reason to attend the DevDays 2006 if you can't wait 10 months to get up to speed with the latest dev technology.
