They found me. I don't know how and when, but this morning, upon checking my mail, I found 70 messages saying that I wrote an 'excellent article'. What's the deal here? Since the blog is hosted on my, errr, our own server it was easy to remove all comments with a single command. Some more comments were posted, but they were also easily deleted.

It was time to put some a commentspam defence in place. Get Clearscreen HIP Control for ASP.NET, put the dll in the bin folder and add the control to the PostComment.ascx of your .Text Skin. Be sure to read the included Readme-file to avoid any misunderstanding, but it's really quite simple.

I hope this will do the trick and rid this blog of commentspammers.
